Cognitive Aging and the Ups and Downs of Technological Developments

“The lifestyle we plan on leading must be approached proactively for changes are coming faster than we can imagine; this is not only necessary, but critical in order to maintain a healthy life.”

Cognitive ageing is complex and not easy to define or measure. Mental functions do not exist in isolated parts of the brain, and cognitive abilities differ widely between individuals. Cognitive ageing is a normal, lifelong process, not a disease. It begins before birth and continues throughout the entire lifespan. The term cognition refers to mental abilities such as memory, attention, and information processing, and also includes broader capacities like learning, wisdom, and understanding. Changes in memory or decision-making might be hard for the family, but these shifts do not necessarily mean a decline in overall well-being. In fact, many older adults report higher levels of happiness than younger people, and certain forms of knowledge and experience can continue to grow even in very advanced age.

I was reading an article from a local health magazine titled Cellular Aging as a Retail Category and I started to think about how cellular aging could be defined, especially for the retail level. Aging is not a simple condition to package for retail, one would need to compare biological age to chronological age, how your body is aging in accordance with your age. Do you look like 60 but are only 40 or are you 60 and look like 40? How did that come about, is it genetic, does it run in your family, or is it factored by your lifestyle choices? In the days of my youth things were much simpler, there were no GMOs, no chemtrails, no forced experimental jabs, our phones were plugged into the wall, and we had no cell towers, only electrical towers. Another thing is that we had no internet and no, we were not painting hieroglyphics on cave walls or riding a buffalo to school, things were just less complicated then. When I relate my childhood to youngsters, they actually raise their heads from their screens in awe, but to tell you in all honesty I would change every so-called advancement I have today to be able to go back to those days being completely fulfilled living with the basics and having a blast.

Today we are much more advanced, we are “smart”: we have smart meters, smart phones, smart cars and smart homes, and we have our own personal assistant named Alexa who does things for us, so we do not have to get off the couch to turn off or on the lights or do other tasks. These technology companies must have thought that if they sell the people on the “smart” notion then adapting to these technologies would mean they were smart. Sadly, you have been programmed, the more you surround yourself in the smart world the dumber you become.

If you had the eyes to see the wireless communications technologies that goes through you and surrounds your every movement you could see what they call electrosmog and how it affects your health and well being. These devices that provide us with conveniences are affecting your cellular aging more than anything else, they affect your mood, your sleep, your pituitary, pineal gland, brain, thyroid and adrenal glands and your entire endocrine system; it attacks these glands by depleting their ability to function efficiently.

Each advancement brought to society comes with a hefty price, and not just monetarily, you also pay with the quality of your life. Today we have 5G technology and very soon 6G will be introduced—this is not an incremental change by comparison. 5G has a theoretical maximum of 10-20 Gbps, 6G aims for a massive leap in capacity and speed to support next-generation technologies like holographic communication and real-time AI. Jumping from 5 to 6 is no small matter, it is a 50 to 100-fold increase in raw capacity. Think of the evolution by transporting water: 4G was like a garden hose (Mbps), 5G is like a high-pressure fire hose (Gbps), 6G is like an industrial water main (Tbps). Or comparison as a mathematical scale in units: 1 Gigabit (Gb) = 1,000 Megabits, 1 Terabit (Tb) = 1,000 Gigabits. While 5G can theoretically move 10 to 20 units of data per second, 6G is designed to move 1,000 units in the very same second.

The 15-minute cities

After all the smart things being introduced, the newest model talks about smart cities. Selling the idea of a ‘15-minute city’ might be tempting for a lot of people. When you think about your daily living and providing your family’s needs, fulfillment is found within your intimate community where you live. It becomes your space, your town, with everything conveniently located a short distance from your home. Most people seek to live this way and count themselves blessed if they have such opportunities, knowing they have the freedom of movement at any time their heart desires. But what if security and freedom of movement become restricted to only include your selected region? Would you still feel free or would you feel trapped?

The word SMART in smart communities stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. The flipside of those opposed to the concept describe SMART as surveillance, monitoring, analysis, reporting and technology. The implementation and data collection will be shared with privately funded organizations such as the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), World Health Organization (WHO), World Economic Forum (WEF), International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Trade Organization (WTO), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)—powerful, international organizations working for global interests in an effort to control your health, finances, actions, behaviour and movement.

Centrally controlled digital currency and the reorganization of cities with the SMART city plan will restrict the use of automobiles to specific zones. 5G or 6G towers will be erected throughout the city, facial recognition cameras will be on every corner and payment for goods will be as simple as retinal scan. The manipulation of food production has already started “growing food for growing cities”—the Gates Foundation has spent billions of dollars implementing dietary changes to help society cope with climate change and overpopulation. According to Elon Musk, “the biggest issue in 20 years will be population collapse. Not explosion. Collapse.” Community growing warehouses to be built, engineered food production, including your protein needs with cricket farms, eliminating the supply side need for transport, from warehouse to grocery store all within the 15-minute city. For some it will be ‘home sweet home’ and for other it will be living in the Matrix or The Hunger Games.

Why does electrosmog matter?

The term electrosmog refers to the constant background radiation coming from smart everything. In a 6G home, your fridge, your meter, your lightbulbs, and your neighbors’ devices are all “talking” constantly. Even if each signal is low-power, the constant, 24/7 nature of the exposure is what gives many parents pause. Beyond the radiation, 8 hours a day of tech use for a child introduces other “smart” risks that are already proven e.g. melatonin disruption—due to the fact that blue light and RF signals can interfere with sleep cycles— or developmental delays—because high screen time is linked to issues with attention span and social-emotional growth.

What is the price paid in extreme frequencies? 6G must use Terahertz (THz) waves. These waves vibrate much faster than 5G, allowing them to “carry” more data packets simultaneously. We are also talking about higher density: because these ultra-high-frequency waves are very weak and easily blocked by walls or even rain, the network requires thousands of tiny antennas everywhere to relay the signal. What are you trading off? You get 100x the data, but you require a much “thicker” environment of transmitters to keep that data flowing. How this translates to the real-world use? 5G: Can download a 4K movie in seconds. 6G: Could download 100 high-definition movies in a single second or run a high-resolution “digital twin” of an entire city in real-time. Some might see the entertainment value and feel it is worth it, but you need to know what you are losing for that added entertainment. Julius Cesar knew how to tame the populous—by giving them entertainment and bread—and two thousand years later we fall for the same entrapment.

The impact on children

What about children, how will they be affected? We must consider the differences in a child’s body size compared to an adult; children have thinner skulls and higher water content in their tissues. How about radiation? They are selling 6G that does not enter the skull or brain. Well, that is a relief, now I can rest easy. Not so fast. They say 6G waves only hit the skin, but a child’s surface-area-to-volume ratio is much higher than an adult’s, they do not mention that. They do not have the data yet on how “terahertz” skin absorption affects a child’s nervous system or immune response over a 10-year period. They seem pretty consistent in the lack of long-term consequences, they do not know what the experimental jab will do in 10-years either, but you should trust the science, right?

If this was not enough, a peer-reviewed study showed some worrisome news regarding the connection between central nervous system tumors (CNSTs) and tablets. “Elevated residential ELF-MF exposure, as well as prolonged tablet use, both with and without internet connectivity, were significantly associated with an increased risk of developing CNST in childhood.”[1]

This does not mean you have to throw out your phone, simply manage it at a safe distance and duration. When not in use, put them in a copper lined Faraday bag and unplug the phone from the wall. Choose hardwiring using Ethernet cables for computers/TVs and turn off Wi-Fi at home. For nightly shutdown put the router on a timer so the children can sleep. Distance means everything: when talking, keep the phone at least 18 inches away from your ear.

It is so important that we take the power into our own hands in order to maintain our health and to ward off the detriments of modern society. Globally we are fighting for our life, and that is why educated choices must be made in the technologies we invite to our homes and lives, in the food we eat, and the therapeutic supplements we take. The lifestyle we plan on leading must be approached proactively for changes are coming faster than we can imagine; this is not only necessary, but critical in order to maintain a healthy life.
