Eldon Dahl, Doctorate of Natural Medicine, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Life Choice Ltd. Eldon graduated as a naturopathic doctor in 1988; his pathway towards natural medicine was a result of witnessing family members struggle with cancer, the youngest being 10 at a time when Eldon was 10 changed his life direction to understand the reasons why. He recognized the missing link that environmental toxins and nutrition correlated with the disease process.
Thirty two years ago naturopathic medicine was not the first means of treatment; on the contrary it was the last resort when all other medical treatments had failed. Naturopathic medicine in Canada was either restricted or extremely limited, and in order treat his patients Eldon ordered the necessary raw materials from abroad and compounded formulations in order to treat his patient’s needs. He had very good success treating his patient load, using unconventional methods, mainly dealing with chronic disease in their final stages, AIDS, ALS, MS, and Stage 4 cancer.
For more than three decades Eldon’s executive role with the company, oversees all daily operations concerning the products formulations from the design stage (including raw material sourcing) to the licensing stage (including 3rd party testing of the final product testing). He also spearheads all health-related research into medical conditions—specifically anti-aging and chronic disease treatments. His philosophy is simple: educate and provide therapeutic medicines that work equally to allopathic drugs…without the side effects.
Eldon regularly attends anti-aging conferences and naturopathic conferences to keep updated with his research. His work is constantly concerned with research and analysis and discussions with his peers on new discoveries.
Eldon’s primary goal is the optimum health of those who use their products, which must never be compromised. He firmly believes that the quality of the contents is paramount; because the better we serve health…the better health serves us all. His mission statement of “Healing the Nation, One Person at a Time” really says it all.
And outside of his work with Life Choice®, we give back to the community through volunteer efforts and offering free supplements to naturopathic satellite clinics.
From the beginning, we have devoted our product line exclusively to the natural health industry. All our raw materials are purchased based on the purest possible pharmaceutical grade, manufactured either in Japan, USA, or Europe. Hormonal products are vegetarian, with the exception of our raw tissue gland formulations and digestive enzyme. All amino acids are free form, and purity must be 99.9% or higher. We encapsulate our formulas in vegetarian capsules and not the cheaper animal gelatin form, because the quality of every component is paramount.
We strive to maintain a consistent high quality in all our formulations and to do so we stick with proven raw material suppliers. We never purchase our ingredients based on price, but rather on purity. Our products may not be the cheapest in the marketplace, but we guarantee that they are among the purest!
We have also pioneered the re-introduction of several products to the Canadian market, including Kava Kava, DMSO, and Tryptophan with B-6.
Retailers and consumers price comparison: why are some brands less expensive?
A simple example is found in our Melapure Melatonin. We use only 100% DMF (drug master file) patented pharmaceutical grade raw material; we pay 700% more for our raw material than can be purchased without a patent. Why? The reasons are two-fold: first, the material is clinically researched, and secondly, the quality is consistently high with each order. Small batch manufacturing and the selection of raw materials create the difference that your body will notice.

Raw Tissue Glands
Our glandulars are concentrates (not extracts) and are derived from New Zealand range-grazed bovine. The grasslands are non-fertilized and the animals are not administered feed supplements, hormones or antibiotics. The glands are quick frozen, never exceeding -5C. Their cellular structure is not damaged and is preserved in a biologically active and live state. Source materials are not subjected to organic or aqueous solvents and therefore no chlorohydrocarbon remain as residue in the tissues.
Skin Creams
Our line of skin treatments yield results that only real nourishment can provide. Pure ingredients like DMAE, Vitamin C Ester, Aloe, and avocado oil combined with other elements to smooth out skin imperfections even during tissue restoration. Formulated by Eldon Dahl, these products are the result of years of perfecting recipes until exactly the right balance was found, the consistency was perfect, and the feel delectable. We are extremely proud of this group of products, which compares favorably with the most expensive boutique treatments.
Our skin creams use only natural preservatives for stability purposes, and fragrances are light, fresh, and fleeting, so they neither conflict with expensive perfumes, nor cause sensitivity to those with allergies.
Capsule Fillers
We use the minimal amount of fillers for capsule fullness, and use microcrystalline cellulose (vegetable source); if flow agents are needed, we use ascorbyl palmitate (fat soluble Vitamin C). The capsule shell is cellulose -from vegetarian source, no animal gelatin is used.
Capsule size is very important.
*Size “4” has a maximum fill weight of 210 mg + or – 2 mg. *Size “2” capsule has a maximum fill weight of 370 mg + or – 5mg. *Size “0” capsule has a maximum fill weight of 680 mg + or – 6 mg. *Size “00” capsule has a maximum fill weight of 910 mg + or – 7 mg. *Size “000” capsule has a maximum fill weight of 1,370 + or – 13 mg.
(Variations are due to material density)
Choosing the correct capsule for each application reduces the need for extra fillers, down time is greater with the necessity of change parts but fillers are drastically reduced preserving the active ingredient. Many manufacturers use the larger capsules thus reducing man hours but increasing the fillers used.
